Privacy Policy

Who we are

itsyoursuperpower.ai (“the Service”) is operated by Coherent Reality (“Company”, “we”, “us”). This policy describes what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

Phone number. Required to sign in. We use it to deliver one-time SMS verification codes and to identify your account on return visits.
Username. A name you choose when you first sign in. Displayed alongside your work if you opt to share.
Course content you create. Answers to the Five Layers, your AI Sidekick configuration, prompts you write, and the stories you choose to share.
Usage data. Timestamps of sign-ins, hours completed, and error/diagnostic logs we need to keep the Service running.
Device data. IP address and user-agent string, used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.

We do not collect government ID, payment card numbers (payment, if any, is processed by a third party), precise location, or contact lists.

SMS program (important)

When you enter your phone number and tap “Send code” on the sign-in page, we send you a one-time SMS verification code from our toll-free number +1 (888) 424-9390. This is the entirety of our SMS program:

Transactional only. We send a verification code only when you request one. No marketing, no promotions, no recurring messages.
Message frequency. One message per sign-in attempt.
Rates. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all future SMS from our number. Reply HELP for help.
Not shared. We do not share your phone number or SMS content with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we use your information

To authenticate you and secure your account.
To personalize your AI Sidekick based on what you tell us in the Five Layers.
To operate the Service — storing your progress, rendering your work, and responding to support requests.
To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the Service:

Anthropic — processes your prompts to generate your AI Sidekick’s responses. Claude API inputs/outputs are handled per Anthropic’s commercial terms.
Microsoft Azure — hosts the Service, stores your data, delivers SMS, and generates embeddings for your Brain DB.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, sale of assets). In any such transfer, this Privacy Policy continues to apply.

Google user data — Limited Use

itsyoursuperpower.ai’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect a Google account, you choose which access to grant. We request read-only access only:

Google Calendar (calendar.readonly) — to read your events so your AI Sidekick can answer questions about your schedule.
Google Drive (drive.metadata.readonly) — file names, types, and modified dates only. We do not request or receive the contents of your files.
Gmail (gmail.readonly) — to read your recent message headers and snippets so your Sidekick can answer questions about your inbox. We never send, modify, or delete mail, and we do not download attachments.
Google account email and name — to identify and label the account you connected.

We use this data only to provide the feature you asked for. Google Calendar, Drive, and Gmail information is accessed only when you send a message that requires it — your Sidekick decides, in response to your question, to look up your calendar, your recent files, or your recent mail. We do not pre-fetch or sync your Google data in the background, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or AI models. Your Google results are processed transiently to produce your answer and are not stored in our systems after the response is generated.
We do not transfer your Google data, and we never sell it. We transfer it only as needed to provide the feature you asked for — specifically, to the AI provider that generates your answer (Anthropic, and Microsoft Azure OpenAI as failover), which processes it on our behalf and does not train on it. Otherwise we transfer Google user data only where necessary to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your prior notice and consent.
No human reads your Google data, except: with your explicit consent (for example, if you ask our support team to look into an issue); where necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse); or to comply with applicable law.
We do not use your Google data for advertising. It is never used for any advertising purpose and is never shared with ad networks or data brokers.

You stay in control. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from /connections; we revoke the token with Google and stop all further access. You can also review and delete anything your Sidekick has saved at /brain, and deleting your account removes it.

Your choices

Access and export. Email us and we’ll send you a copy of the data associated with your account.
Deletion. Email us and we’ll delete your account and associated content, subject to short retention for legal and fraud-prevention purposes.
SMS opt-out. Reply STOP to any message. You can still sign in by email (when that option is available) or request re-enrollment.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, Sidekick configuration, and shared work within 30 days. Backup and log copies may persist for up to 90 days. Legal hold periods may extend retention where required.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS. Secrets and connection strings are stored in Azure Key Vault. We restrict production access to the small team required to operate the Service. No system is perfectly secure; we do our best.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service. If you are 13 to 17, you may use the Service only with consent from a parent or guardian.

Changes

We will update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
